Position Purpose:
We are looking for a Manager, Corporate Tax Compliance to join our Global Tax function, based in Hyderabad. This is a high-impact individual contributor role sitting within the Global Tax team.
The role is responsible for overseeing corporate tax compliance across an assigned portfolio of jurisdictions including the UK and Nordic countries, while also providing broader international tax support across key advisory workstreams. The role works closely with local finance teams, external advisors, and internal stakeholders across legal, business development, and commercial functions.

Corporate Tax Compliance
- Manage corporate tax compliance across an assigned portfolio of European jurisdictions including the UK and Nordic countries, ensuring accurate and timely filings in coordination with local finance teams and external tax advisors.
- Review tax returns, provisions, and financial statement disclosures in line with local regulations and accounting standards, including ETR and cash tax forecasting.
- Coordinate with local finance teams and external advisors to deliver high-quality compliance and meet statutory deadlines.
- Support tax audits and respond to queries from local tax authorities including HMRC and Nordic tax administrations, working closely with retained external advisors.
- Monitor developments in local tax legislation and assess implications for compliance and reporting obligations
- Identify tax risks and drive improvements in compliance processes and controls.
- Provide flexible support across a broad range of global tax matters and strategic initiatives as needed, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external advisors to address evolving business requirements.
International Tax Advisory Support.
- Support Business Development& Licensing (BD) transactions from a tax perspective. BD deals involve the in-licensing and out-licensing of pharmaceutical products, co-development arrangements and royalty structures between Sandoz and third parties partners. The role provides tax input during the review of transaction documents and supports the tax assessment of the proposed deal structure, working in close coordination with legal and business development teams.
- Prepare and review intercompany agreements, ensuring alignment with the group’s tax and transfer pricing policies and applicable legal requirements
- Interpret and apply tax treaties in the context of intercompany and thir-party transactions, withholding tax positions, and cross-border arrangements.
- Review third-party commercial agreements to identify and assess tax implications, flagging issues and recommending appropriate treatments in coordination with legal and finance teams
What you’ll bring to the role:Essential Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Law, Economics, Finance, or Accounting (LLM, MSc, MBA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification) required with min5–8 years of experience in corporate tax compliance and international tax, combining advisory firm background with in-house MNC exposure preferred
- Technical knowledge of UK corporate tax, Nordic tax regimes, or other European jurisdiction; familiarity with HMRC compliance requirements is a strong advantage.
- Experience with tax provisions and financial statement disclosures under IFRS.
- Exposure to international tax advisory work including tax treaties, intercompany agreements, and cross-border transactions.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, global matrix environment with stakeholders across multiple time zones.
- Strong coordinator and communicator. Able to manage external advisors and local finance contacts effectively without being physically present.
- Excellent written and verbal English. Ability to extract, analyze and review large volumes of data and make appropriate recommendations. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level.
