Quality Inspection
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of sheet metal stamping and fabricated parts.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, control plans, and inspection standards.
- Use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, thread gauges, and surface plates.
- Prepare First Article Inspection (FAI) and PPAP documents as per customer requirements.
- Record inspection results and maintain traceability of parts.
- Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective & preventive actions with production.
Quality Assurance & Systems
- Support implementation and maintenance of ISO/IATF or customer-specific systems.
- Participate in internal audits and process audits.
- Maintain calibration records of measuring instruments.
- Monitor rejection, rework, and PPM trends.
Development / NPD Support
- Participate in trial runs and sample development.
- Coordinate with tooling, production, and design teams to achieve dimensional approvals.
- Support preparation of SOPs, control plans, PFMEA, and process flow diagrams.
- Ensure readiness for customer inspections and approvals.
Customer & Supplier Interaction
- Handle customer complaints and prepare 8D / CAPA reports.
- Support supplier quality for incoming materials if required.
