We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Healthcare Domain Trainer to deliver quality training to candidates under the DDU-GKY (Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana) program.
The trainer will be responsible for providing theoretical and practical knowledge related to healthcare, preparing students for employment, and ensuring effective learning as per the prescribed curriculum and training standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and practical training for healthcare-related courses under the DDU-GKY program.
- Explain healthcare concepts, procedures, terminology, and workplace practices in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Conduct practical demonstrations, activities, assessments, quizzes, and mock sessions.
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, presentations, and other learning resources.
- Maintain attendance, assessment records, student progress reports, and other required documentation.
- Monitor student performance and provide appropriate guidance and support.
- Prepare candidates for interviews, workplace behavior, communication, and employment.
- Ensure training is conducted according to the prescribed curriculum, SOPs, and DDU-GKY requirements.
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom.
- Coordinate with the center management and placement team regarding student progress and employment readiness.
- Participate in inspections, audits, assessments, and other program-related activities when required.
Educational Qualification
Minimum Qualification:
- B.Sc. / Bachelor’s Degree in Science or a relevant discipline.
- Candidates with a background relevant to Healthcare, Life Sciences, Biology, Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, or related fields will be preferred.
Additional Qualification – Preferred:
- Training of Teachers (ToT) / Training of Trainers (ToT) certificate.
- Relevant trainer certification or recognized teaching/training qualification.
- Healthcare-related certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Healthcare Trainer, Domain Trainer, Vocational Trainer, Skill Trainer, Teacher, or Faculty is preferred.
- Freshers with the required educational qualification and good communication/training skills may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of healthcare concepts and basic healthcare practices.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and practical manner.
- Good classroom management skills.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office/PowerPoint.
- Ability to maintain training records and documentation.
- Good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to work with rural youth and support candidates from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates having Training of Teachers (ToT) / Training of Trainers (ToT) certification will be given preference.
- Candidates with prior experience in DDU-GKY, PMKVY, Skill India, vocational training, or other government skill-development programs will be preferred.
