Job Title : Backup Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Backup and Storage infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for automated infrastructure provisioning.
- Build and maintain Ansible playbooks for server configuration, deployment, and automation.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.
- Develop automation scripts and tools using Python to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Manage infrastructure code using Git and follow version control best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, process workflows, and automation standards.
- Drive DevOps and SRE best practices to improve platform reliability, scalability, and performance.
Requisites
- Bachelor//'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud infrastructure management.
- Experience with Git, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and version control systems.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and configuration management.
- Understanding of Backup and Storage technologies is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, scripting, and infrastructure automation skills.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and cloud infrastructure best practices.
