Job Summary
The Consultant Physiotherapist is responsible for providing expert assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for patients with complex musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, sports, and rehabilitation conditions. The role includes leading clinical decision-making, developing individualized rehabilitation programs, mentoring junior physiotherapists, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and clinical evaluations.
- Diagnose movement dysfunctions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver advanced physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy, dry needling (where certified), taping, and rehabilitation programs.
- Manage complex and chronic rehabilitation cases.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical outcomes.
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans, home exercise programs, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT).
- Master's Degree in Physiotherapy (MPT) preferred.
- Valid registration with the relevant Physiotherapy Council or licensing authority.
- Certification in specialized areas such as Manual Therapy, Sports Rehabilitation, Dry Needling, Neurorehabilitation, or Orthopedic Physiotherapy is desirable.
Experience
- 0–2 years of clinical physiotherapy experience.
- Experience managing complex rehabilitation cases.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Vyttila, Kochi, Kerala
