We are seeking a proactive and result-oriented Pre-Sales / Business Development Executive with experience in bidding, lead generation, and client acquisition through online platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience identifying business opportunities, interacting with potential clients, preparing proposals, and supporting the sales pipeline.
Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Sales & Bidding
- Identify relevant business opportunities through platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, LinkedIn, Clutch, Fiverr, PPH, and other lead-generation channels.
- Submit customized proposals, bids, and responses to client requirements.
- Understand project requirements and coordinate with internal technical teams for scope clarification.
- Prepare estimates, capability documents, presentations, and proposals.
Lead Generation
- Research and generate qualified leads through online platforms, databases, LinkedIn, and outbound outreach.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline of prospective clients.
- Initiate conversations with potential clients via emails, messages, and networking platforms.
- Maintain CRM and lead tracking reports.
Client Communication & Coordination
- Conduct requirement gathering and initial discussions with prospects.
- Coordinate with business analysts, project managers, and technical teams during pre-sales discussions.
- Follow up with prospects and nurture leads for conversion.
- Ensure timely response to client queries and proposal submissions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
- Experience in online bidding and lead generation.
- Good understanding of IT services/Software development services (if applicable to your company).
- Strong communication, proposal writing, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clutch, Apollo, etc.
- Ability to understand client requirements and convert opportunities into business discussions.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in proposal drafting and documentation.
- Knowledge of CRM tools and sales tracking.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated with a target-driven mindset.
