Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and implement annual sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities across Corporate, MICE, Government, Travel Trade, Airline, and Leisure segments.
- Maintain and expand relationships with key corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and business partners.
- Conduct regular sales calls, client visits, presentations, and networking activities.
- Represent the hotel at trade fairs, exhibitions, roadshows, and industry events.
Revenue Generation
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual room and banquet revenue budgets.
- Work closely with the Revenue Manager to optimize pricing, occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to develop effective sales strategies.
- Drive business during low-demand periods through targeted promotions and strategic partnerships.
Account Management
- Negotiate corporate contracts and rate agreements.
- Ensure timely renewal of key corporate accounts.
- Maintain accurate client records and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Build long-term customer relationships to maximize repeat business.
Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate, train, and develop the Sales team.
- Set departmental KPIs and monitor performance against sales targets.
- Conduct regular team meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Collaboration
- Coordinate with Front Office, Reservations, Banquets, Food & Beverage, Finance, and Revenue Management to ensure seamless execution of client requirements.
- Participate in revenue meetings and business review meetings.
- Ensure effective communication of group movements, events, and VIP requirements.
Reporting & Budgeting
- Prepare monthly sales forecasts, production reports, and market analysis.
- Monitor departmental expenses and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
- Submit periodic sales reports and business development updates to the General Manager.
Guest & Brand Excellence
- Ensure exceptional service standards are maintained for all corporate and group clients.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Promote the hotel's brand values while maintaining high ethical and professional standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- MBA in Sales/Marketing is preferred.
Experience
- 8–12 years of progressive experience in hotel sales, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in luxury or upscale business hotels is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Mumbai hospitality market and corporate business landscape.
Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
