Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and growth-oriented Head of Marketing to lead and scale our e-commerce business across international markets. The role will be responsible for developing and executing data-driven marketing strategies, driving revenue growth, optimizing customer acquisition and retention, and leading a high-performing marketing team.
Key Responsibilities & Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute the overall marketing and growth strategy.
- Own revenue, conversion, CAC, CLV, and profitability targets.
- Identify market opportunities and drive sustainable business growth.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Technology, and Operations teams.
Performance Marketing
- Lead multi-channel acquisition across Google Ads, Meta, SEO, Affiliate, Display, and Retargeting.
- Optimize ROAS, customer acquisition costs, and campaign performance.
- Manage media budgets and forecast marketing investments.
E-Commerce & Customer Experience
- Own all digital touchpoints and online stores.
- Improve customer journey, website UX/UI, and conversion rates.
- Drive CRM, marketing automation, and customer retention initiatives.
Analytics & Reporting
- Establish KPI frameworks and dashboards.
- Analyze customer behavior and campaign performance.
- Present business insights and growth plans to senior leadership.
- Conduct competitive and market analysis.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor cross-functional marketing teams.
- Build scalable processes and performance-driven culture.
- Manage external agencies and strategic partners.
- Act as a key business partner to executive leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in digital marketing with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in an e-commerce or B2C/B2B environment.
- Strong expertise in Performance Marketing, SEO, CRM, Marketing Automation, and Web Analytics.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, CRM platforms, and marketing automation tools.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluency in English; German language proficiency is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with marketplaces
- Knowledge of Shopify, Shopware, Magento, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management and data-driven growth.
- International market exposure and omnichannel marketing experience.
