About the Role
Indian News Communication is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager-cum-Content Writer (Team Lead) to lead social media strategy, content development, and digital communication projects. The role requires a professional capable of managing end-to-end social media operations, leading a creative team, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality content delivery across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end planning and execution of social media projects.
Develop platform-specific social media strategies aligned with campaign objectives.
Create and oversee high-quality English and Hindi content for social media, blogs, articles, captions, and campaign creatives.
Prepare editorial calendars and ensure timely execution.
Coordinate with clients, government stakeholders, internal teams, designers, and video editors.
Review and approve content before publication to maintain quality and brand consistency.
Track campaign performance using Meta Insights, Google Analytics, and other analytics tools, and prepare performance reports.
Identify trends and recommend improvements to maximize engagement and reach.
Mentor and manage content writers and social media executives to ensure productivity and quality.
Ensure adherence to project timelines and organizational standards.
Qualifications
Graduate/Postgraduate in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related discipline.
Experience
Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in social media management, digital communications, content writing, or integrated communication projects.
Required Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
Strong strategic thinking and organizational abilities.
Content development, storytelling, and editorial planning expertise.
Hands-on experience with Meta Business Suite, Meta Insights, Google Analytics, and other analytics/reporting tools.
Leadership and team management capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of current digital marketing and social media trends.
Strong stakeholder management and client communication skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience handling government, PSU, corporate, or public sector communication projects.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
