We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented General Manager to oversee overall business operations, team performance, customer relationships, and business growth. The GM will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while achieving organizational targets and maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the overall operations of the branch/business.
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Monitor daily operations, productivity, and performance of different departments.
- Lead, motivate, and manage employees and ensure effective team coordination.
- Set performance targets and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and key business partners.
- Monitor sales, revenue, expenses, and operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
- Identify operational issues and implement effective solutions.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, Operations, Sales, and other departments.
- Prepare and review operational and business performance reports.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of key employees.
- Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve operational issues.
- Identify opportunities for business expansion and process improvement.
- Report business performance and key developments to senior management.
Eligibility & Skills
Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of business operations and financial management.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple teams and responsibilities.
- Target-oriented with strong business acumen.
- Good analytical and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and business management systems.
- Experience in the gold, jewellery, hallmarking, assaying, laboratory, or related industry will be an added advantage.
