1] POSITION SUMMARY:
The Accounts Manager / Chief Accountant is responsible for overseeing the entire finance and accounts operations of the company, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank management, payroll, GST, TDS, statutory compliance and mentoring of accounting staff.
This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory regulations, smooth cash flow management and leadership of the accounting team to support strategic decision-making by management.

Ø Effective written and verbal communication for internal reporting and external coordination with banks, auditors and CAs.

3] KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
a. Leadership and Team Management
Ø Leads and mentors the accounting team and junior staff members, ensuring adherence to processes and timelines.
Ø Reviews work done by junior accountants for accuracy and compliance.
Ø Facilitates training and knowledge sharing to strengthen team capability.
b. Banking and Treasury Management
Ø Reviews all bank inward/outward remittance documentation for accuracy and compliance.
Ø Maintains and manages relationships with all associated banks.
Ø Tracks and monitors Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) for effective cash flow management.
c. Payroll Management
Ø Prepares monthly salary statements for PMS and JSMPL employees.
Ø Ensures payroll compliance, timely disbursements and accurate record-keeping.
d. Statutory Compliance and Coordination with Chartered Accountant (CA)
Ø Coordinates with the Chartered Accountant for all company renewals and statutory compliance.
Ø Handles monthly GST work, including preparation, verification and portal submission of GSTR-1, GSTR-2B and GSTR-3B.
Ø Manages TDS responsibilities, including:
v Determining TDS applicability for all purchase and service invoices.
v Verifying TDS entries in Tally and ensuring timely payments.
v Preparing quarterly e-TDS return data and sharing it with the CA office.
e. Accounting and Financial Reporting
Ø Oversees overall accounting functions, including reconciliations, ledgers, trial balances and reports.
Ø Ensures accuracy and completeness of financial records in line with internal and statutory requirements.
Ø Provides management with financial insights, reports and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
f. Additional Support and Responsibilities
Ø Supports various accounting and finance-related activities as required by management.
Ø Ensures proper documentation, record-keeping and organization of all finance-related documents.
Ø Identifies process improvement opportunities in accounting, compliance and reporting workflows.
4] PERFORMANCE MATRICS
Ø Accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all financial reporting and reconciliations.
Ø Compliance with GST, TDS, payroll and statutory regulations.
Ø Effective management of AR, AP, cash flow and bank relationships.
Ø Leadership and development of the accounting team, including mentoring junior staff.
Ø Timely coordination with the CA and successful submission of statutory filings.
Ø Supportive contribution to improving processes, internal controls and overall finance team efficiency.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
