Job Summary
The Engineer Intern will assist the Engineering PSC team in engineering design, analysis, documentation, testing, and project support activities. This internship provides hands-on exposure to engineering processes, technical problem-solving, and project execution while working under the guidance of experienced engineers. The role is designed to help students or recent graduates apply theoretical knowledge to real-world engineering projects and gain practical industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist engineers in project planning, design, and development activities.
- Support preparation of technical drawings, calculations, reports, and documentation.
- Participate in testing, inspection, and validation of engineering systems and equipment.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret engineering data.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and proposing solutions.
- Support project teams in monitoring progress and maintaining project records.
- Participate in site visits, surveys, and engineering assessments when required.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete assigned tasks and projects.
- Prepare presentations and reports on assigned engineering activities.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline.
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB, or equivalent is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
