Job Overview
We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented freshers to join our manufacturing team as CNC (Computer Numerical Control) and VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Machine Operators. The ideal candidates will receive hands-on training to operate, monitor, and maintain CNC and VMC machines. This is an excellent opportunity for recent ITI or Diploma graduates looking to build a strong foundation in the manufacturing and machining industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Safely load and unload raw materials and parts into CNC/VMC machines.
- Monitoring Process: Observe the machine during operation to detect any malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, reporting issues to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Measurement & Quality Check: Use basic measuring tools (micrometers, vernier calipers, gauges) to ensure machined parts meet the required dimensional specifications.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to read and interpret basic mechanical blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
- Tooling & Setup: Assist senior operators in setting up machines, changing cutting tools, and adjusting offsets.
- Maintenance: Perform basic daily preventative maintenance on machines, such as cleaning and checking coolant/oil levels.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all workplace safety guidelines, wearing proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: ITI (Machinist, Turner, Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Skills: * Basic understanding of machining processes and mechanical principles.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments is a strong plus.
- Good basic mathematical skills.
