Role
:
Team Lead Responsible for leading the product research team - responsible for identifying & validating customer needs, product features and future vehicle concepts, with the aim of bridging the gap between consumer expectations and product development.
Responsibilities:
•
Lead the conduct of qualitative and quantitative research on user preferences, pain points, and unmet needs.
•
Oversee validation of vehicle concepts and feature sets through surveys, focus groups, and in-market experiments.
•
Analyse vehicle feature desirability, pricing elasticity, and willingness-to-pay.
•
Ensure the benchmark of global vehicles & track innovation trends in vehicle design, connectivity, and sustainability.
•
Collaborate effectively with Product Planning, Design, Engineering & Marketing teams to guide product specifications and value propositions.
•
Manage third-party research agencies and data providers to deliver custom studies and reports.
•
Present actionable insights to leadership through dashboards, presentations and executive briefs.
Competency Requirements
Technical/ Functional:

Research Methodology Knowledge – Proficiency in qualitative & quantitative
Analytical skills – Ability to analyze data and derive meaningful insights.

Expertise in creating impactful data visualizations using tools like MS PowerPoint
•
Statistical Software Proficiency – MS Excel, SPSS or equivalent tools.
•
Business Acumen - Strong understanding of business portfolios, financial metrics, and their implications.
