We are building a large on-ground network of contractors, builders, and construction service providers across expanding cities.
About the Role
We are hiring a Team Leader – Field Sales & Contractor Onboarding to own the contractor/partner ecosystem and sales expansion. You will manage and lead a team of Field Sales Executives, drive rapid onboarding of contractors and construction businesses onto the platform, and ensure onboarded partners actively take up projects and transact.
This role suits Team Leaders, Area Sales Managers, and Business Development Managers from B2C sales, construction/real estate, fintech, or payments/merchant-acquiring backgrounds industries where you have handled large field onboarding teams, daily target monitoring, and fast project execution at the same time.
Key Responsibilities
Contractor Acquisition & Onboarding
- Identify, pitch, and onboard contractors, builders, and construction service providers across expansion cities
- Build and manage a strong partner pipeline across multiple territories and localities
- Manage onboarding documentation, verification/KYC, payment setup, and account activation
- Ensure onboarded contractors understand the platform, its benefits, and start taking projects
Field Sales Team Management
- Recruit, train, and manage Field Sales Executives across multiple cities
- Allocate territories and clusters; set daily, weekly, and monthly onboarding targets
- Coach the team on contractor pitching, objection handling, and deal closing
- Monitor field productivity daily and take corrective action on underperformance
Local Marketing & Territory Expansion
- Run contractor focused promotional and referral campaigns with the marketing team
- Expand the contractor network city by city and identify high-potential construction hubs and localities
Reporting & Problem Solving
- Track contractor onboarding numbers, project/transaction volume, and partner engagement
- Maintain field-operations dashboards and present growth plans to leadership
- Resolve on-ground adoption issues quickly so project speed is never compromised
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of contractors onboarded and active on the platform
- Field sales team hiring speed and executive productivity
- Project/transaction growth and city expansion speed
Who Should Apply (Required Skills & Experience)
- 3–6 years of experience in field sales, direct sales, partner/merchant onboarding, or B2C sales
- Industry background in B2C, construction, real estate, fintech, or payments/merchant acquiring with proven ability to run large field onboarding teams while maintaining project speed
- Experience building and leading multi-city field sales teams
- Strong negotiation, closing, and team-management skills
- Exposure to marketplace, hyperlocal, or platform-based businesses is a plus
- Results-driven, growth-focused mindset with willingness to travel locally
- Local language skills (Kannada / Hindi) plus English preferred
