We are having urgent requirements for embedded engineers having experience in RDK-B domain with 3-10 years of experience.
· Software developer with responsibility for the development of one or more software components.
· Technical authority for one or more software components.
. Shall help define and implement unit, component, and integration and follow processes.
· Experience working with teams of up to 10 engineers.
· Strong agile experience
. Scrum master qualification or experience
. Roadmap curation
· Strong CI/CD and TDD experience
- Collaborative and innovative approach to problem solving.
· Must have experience of working with Agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban; iterative planning and task estimation.
· Strong understanding and use of code revision, issue tracking and continuous integration tools, e.g. git, Jira, Gitlab.
- Working to ambitious timescale.
Technical Focus -
· Demonstrable experience in software design and development, using the C programming language, on embedded Linux systems.
· Work experience in Wi-Fi/ Router firmware stack
· Work experience in RDKB/ OpenWrt framework
· Experience developing and debugging in a Linux environment
· Experience in building and debugging software for embedded Linux systems development, with demonstrable experience of shell scripting, debugging tools, e.g.gdb.
· Understanding of the hardware and software constraints related to developing home gateways or similar consumer electronic systems.
· Experience using SIP and RTP protocols for development of voice/media applications.
· Experience developing software for DECT / CAT-iq devices.
- Experience of building products using OpenWrt or similar
- Experience using test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework
· Strong scripting skills, e.g. Bash, Python .
Ideally :
· Experience leading teams of up to 5 engineers.
- Demonstrable contribution to open source projects.
· Experience in Linux kernel and driver development is preferred.
- Experience on one or more of the following: TR-069, SIP(S), DECT, Multicast
- Experience with objective voice quality measuring tests such as PESQ and POLQA
- Has a working knowledge of Home Gateway standards including, but not restricted to: IPv4/IPv6, PPP, IPoE, Wi-Fi, UPnP / Multicast and EoGRE.
- Experience using JTAG debuggers to bring up and debug hardware.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
