Position Title: Final Inspector / Quality Control (QC) Inspector – Machining
Reports To: Quality Manager / Quality Supervisor
Department: Quality Assurance / Quality ControlCore Responsibilities
- Blue-Print & Spec Verification: Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, CAD models, and process sheets to determine exact part dimensions and tolerances.
- Precision Measurement: Perform dimensional, surface, and visual inspections of finished, machined parts using advanced metrology tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges, plug/thread gauges).
- CMM Operation: Program, set up, and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) or portable 3D scanners to verify highly complex or tight-tolerance geometries.
- Documentation & Reporting: Fill out First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, dimensional charts, and non-conformance (NCR) logs to maintain full traceability.
- Defect Control: Identify and isolate defective or out-of-tolerance parts, routing them for scrap or rework and logging the root cause.
- Instrument Calibration: Ensure all inspection tools are well-maintained, calibrated, and compliant with ISO standards (if applicable).
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
