A 3D Exhibition Stall Designer with Interior knowledge in Ahmedabad bridges the gap between creative architectural visualization and functional interior space planning. This role requires not just aesthetic 3D modeling but also a deep understanding of materials, lighting, and spatial ergonomics to ensure the final stall is both visually striking and structurally sound for fabrication.
Key Responsibilities
- 3D Modeling & Visualization: Create high-quality, photorealistic 3D stall designs and walk-throughs using industry-standard software.
- Interior Space Planning: Apply interior design principles to optimize foot traffic flow, furniture layout, and functional zones within limited booth square footage.
- Technical Detailing: Develop detailed 2D working drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and electrical layouts for fabrication and site execution.
- Material Selection: Specify appropriate materials, finishes, and textures, ensuring they align with both the client's brand identity and production feasibility.
- Lighting Design: Plan and visualize strategic lighting (e.g., spotlights, ambient LED, backlit graphics) to enhance the mood and highlight key products.
- Client Presentations: Prepare mood boards and professional presentation decks to pitch design concepts to clients.
- Vendor Coordination: Work closely with fabricators and on-site production teams to ensure the physical build matches the 3D vision.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Software Proficiency:
- 3D Design: Autodesk 3ds Max (modeling & texturing) with V-Ray or Corona for rendering.
- 2D/Drafting: AutoCAD for technical production drawings.
- Graphics: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and CorelDRAW for integrated stall graphics.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or Exhibition Design.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with exhibition booth materials (Octanorm, Maxima, customized wooden fabrication) and global design standards.
- Experience: Typically 2–5 years in a similar role within the exhibition or event industry is preferred.
