Job Summary
Seeking an SAP ILM & Data Archiving Consultant with experience in designing and delivering Information Lifecycle Management (ILM), Data Archiving, Retention Management, and compliance-driven data governance solutions across SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes. The role requires exposure to multiple SAP functional domains (Finance, Procurement, Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, HR, etc.) and a strong understanding of SAP's latest data management, privacy, and archiving capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement SAP ILM, Retention Management, Retention Warehouse, and Data Archiving solutions across SAP business processes.
Conduct workshops, gather requirements, and define data retention, archiving, and destruction strategies.
Configure retention policies, residence rules, audit areas, legal holds, and ILM-enabled archiving objects.
Support SAP archiving scenarios using SARA and ILM across ECC and S/4HANA environments.
Coordinate integrations with OpenText, SAP Content Server, SAP ILM Retention Warehouse, and external repositories.
Collaborate with functional, BASIS, compliance, audit, and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Support data privacy, compliance, audit readiness, and information governance initiatives.
Participate in project lifecycle activities including design, build, testing, cutover, deployment, and hypercare.
Manage stakeholder communication, project risks, issues, and governance reporting.
