Position: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – Social Science
Department: Academics
Reporting To: Headmistress/Principal
Location: DPS, Kalyanpur
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable TGT Social Science Teacher to teach students of Classes VI to X. The candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, and other Social Science subjects, fostering critical thinking, and promoting awareness of social, cultural, and global issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective lessons in accordance with the CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum.
- Teach Social Science subjects including History, Geography, Civics, and Economics.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment tools.
- Encourage inquiry-based learning and critical thinking among students.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
- Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Monitor student attendance, behavior, and academic progress.
- Address individual learning needs through differentiated instruction.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress.
- Prepare report cards and participate in parent-teacher meetings.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership for curriculum planning and school initiatives.
- Participate in school events, assemblies, and extracurricular activities.
NOTE: Salary will be offered based on your current salary
Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
