ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Privacy Manager at CryptoMize you will create and maintain the information security program — the security policies, procedures and guidelines that protect the organization’s information assets — and the comprehensive privacy policy that governs how personal information is collected, stored and protected. The manager’s primary responsibility is the privacy of the agency’s clients and employees, and both are protected by one operable system rather than two filed documents.
Program operability is a standing duty: a policy that is not being operated is a liability pretending to be an asset, so the manager here runs the cadence — reviews, exceptions, training and the team that makes it stick. The privacy team’s analysts and specialists report into this seat, and their assessment work is the program’s early-warning system.
The manager also carries the alignment duty: privacy and security are two programs with one architecture here, sharing investigations, standards and the regulator interface. A background in computer science or programming helps with the technical depth; the operative test is whether a program you have run has survived an audit, an incident, or a regulator — without drama.
