The Dispatch Manager will oversee the daily operations of order dispatch, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely delivery of goods to customers, dealers, and medical institutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills to manage a dynamic team and collaborate cross-functionally to maintain customer satisfaction and compliance standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and manage daily dispatch activities as per sales orders and delivery schedules.
- Ensure accurate picking, packing, labeling, and dispatch of finished goods.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Warehouse, Purchase, and Sales departments for smooth dispatch operations.
- Verify invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, LR copies, and other dispatch documents before shipment.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, company SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate with stores to avoid dispatch delays.
- Manage transporters, negotiate freight charges, and ensure timely vehicle placement.
- Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery to distributors, stockists, and customers.
- Handle dispatch-related customer complaints and resolve logistics issues promptly.
- Maintain dispatch records, transporter bills, and shipment documentation.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of products during dispatch to maintain product quality.
- Conduct periodic stock reconciliation with the warehouse team.
- Implement dispatch KPIs and continuously improve operational efficiency.
- Supervise and train dispatch staff on SOPs, safety, and documentation.
- Ensure workplace cleanliness, safety, and compliance with EHS guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Science, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Diploma/Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.
Experience:
- 4–6 years of experience in dispatch, warehouse, or logistics operations.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the pharmaceutical, Ayurvedic, or FMCG industry.
