Job Summary
The Store Executive is responsible for managing daily store operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, handling material receipt and issuance, and ensuring proper storage of goods. The role includes stock monitoring, documentation, and coordination with various departments to ensure smooth inventory flow and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials/goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of materials.
- Issue materials as per authorized requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages/excess stock.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and audits.
- Maintain inward/outward registers and documentation.
- Coordinate with purchase and production departments.
- Ensure FIFO/LIFO inventory practices where applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the store area.
- Prevent stock damage, wastage, and pilferage.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of inventory and warehouse management.
- Basic understanding of storekeeping procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software (SAP/Tally/Oracle preferred).
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Communication and coordination abilities.
Qualifications
- Graduate/Diploma in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in store or warehouse operations preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory software is an advantage.
