FORK LIFT OPERATOR-JOB PROFILE Forklift Operators drive industrial trucks to load, unload, stack and transport materials in warehouses or manufacturing sites. Responsibilities include inspecting machinery daily, moving goods safely, and managing inventory using RF scanners. Operators must hold a valid certification and be physically coordinated. Responsibilities: - Equipment Operation: Drive sit-down/stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks and reach trucks to move raw materials and finished goods across the facility. Material Handling: Load and unload delivery vehicles safely, ensuring loads are centered, secured and properly shrink-wrapped. Inventory control: Verify inventory, locate/store stock in designated bays. Safety Compliance: Conduct required pre-shift inspections, report hazards and adhere strictly to traffic rules and PPE requirements. Maintenance & upkeep: Perform basic upkeep like battery charging or fueling, and escalate mechanical issues for repair. Core requirements: Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification. Experience: 01 to 02 years of prior warehouse or industrial equipment experience is typically preferred. Physical capabilities: Ability to lift heavy load (up to 40 Kgs), stand for extended periods, and demonstrate excellent depth perception. Age: 18 to 40 years.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
