Key Responsibilities
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems to identify worn components and prevent unplanned downtime.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose mechanical issues and execute immediate repairs (e.g., replacing bearings, belts, and seals).
- Equipment Installation: Assemble, align, and install new machinery and components according to manufacturer specifications.
- Fabrication & Modification: Cut, shape, and weld metal parts using hand tools and power equipment.
- Documentation: Log maintenance activities, track spare parts usage, and record breakdown reports in maintenance management systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to industrial health and safety regulations (e.g., ISO, OHSAS), ensuring a secure work environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fitting, or a related trade.
- Technical Proficiencies: High proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Tool Expertise: Ability to safely use calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, welding units, and workshop machines.
- Physical Capabilities: Stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy machinery, and work in varied environments (factories, workshops)
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
