Job Summary
The Quality Executive is responsible for ensuring that all lubrication systems, components, and assemblies meet the company's quality standards and customer specifications. The role involves inspection of incoming materials, in-process quality checks, final inspection, documentation, and continuous improvement of quality processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming inspection of raw materials, bought-out components, and vendor-supplied parts.
- Perform in-process quality inspections during fabrication, machining, assembly, and testing of lubrication systems.
- Carry out final inspection of completed products before dispatch.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
- Identify product non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Purchase, and Stores departments to resolve quality-related issues.
- Monitor calibration of measuring instruments and maintain calibration records.
- Support internal quality audits and assist during customer or third-party audits.
- Verify product testing, functional testing, and pressure testing as per approved procedures.
- Monitor supplier quality performance and participate in vendor quality improvement activities.
- Ensure implementation of ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.
- Maintain proper traceability of materials and finished products.
- Promote quality awareness and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control in a manufacturing industry.
- Experience in lubrication systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, or industrial equipment manufacturing is preferred.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Knowledge of quality inspection methods and measurement techniques.
- Hands-on experience with measuring instruments such as:
- Vernier Caliper
- Micrometer
- Height Gauge
- Bore Gauge
- Dial Indicator
- Pressure Gauges
- Knowledge of welding inspection and fabrication quality standards.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Understanding of root cause analysis tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and CAPA.
- Good documentation and report preparation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Incoming material acceptance rate.
- First Pass Yield (FPY).
- Reduction in customer complaints.
- Reduction in internaal rejection and rework.
- On-time completion of inspections.
- Closure of CAPA within target timelines.
- Vendor quality performance.
- Audit compliance score.
- Calibration compliance.
Working Conditions
- Manufacturing and assembly shop floor environment.
- Coordination with production, stores, purchase, and design teams.
- Occasional customer or supplier visits, if required.
Preferred Certifications
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor (Preferred)
- Six Sigma Green Belt (Preferred)
- NDT Level II (Optional, if applicable)
Experience: 2–5 Years

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
