Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer – Tooling to support tooling development, process improvement, and production activities. The ideal candidate should have experience in tooling, manufacturing processes, and working with production and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes related to tooling.
- Design, develop, and modify tools, fixtures, and dies as per production requirements.
- Analyze tooling-related production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Tool Room, Production, Quality, and Design teams.
- Prepare and maintain process documentation, tooling specifications, and work instructions.
- Monitor tool performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support new product development and tooling trials.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for tooling and process-related problems.
- Reduce tool downtime, rejection, and production losses through process improvements.
- Ensure tooling and processes meet quality and safety standards.
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in Process Engineering / Tooling / Manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of tooling and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, or production tooling.
- Knowledge of process improvement and problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Knowledge of quality standards and production practices.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing will be preferred.
Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
