Innovation Trainer – Drones, Aerodynamics, STEM & Robotics
Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Innovation Trainer to conduct hands-on, experiential learning sessions in Drones, Aerodynamics, STEM, and Robotics for school students. The trainer will work in an Innovation / DT / Maker Lab environment and inspire students to become creators, problem-solvers, and future innovators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver practical, project-based classes on:
- Aerodynamics fundamentals
- Drone basics (working, components, safety, applications)
- STEM concepts through real-world models
- Robotics (mechanical construction, electronics, basic coding if applicable)
- Guide students in design thinking, prototyping, testing, and iteration
- Conduct hands-on demonstrations, experiments, and lab activities
- Mentor students for competitions, exhibitions, innovation challenges & fairs
- Ensure lab safety, proper handling of tools, kits, and equipment
- Maintain and manage lab inventory, kits, and materials
- Collaborate with school teachers and academic teams
- Adapt teaching methods for different age groups (Grades 3–10 / 12)
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of STEM education principles
- Hands-on knowledge of:
- Aerodynamics models & experiments
- Drones (educational / training-level)
- Robotics kits, sensors, motors, electronics
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for young learners
- Excellent communication, classroom management & mentoring skills
- Passion for innovation, creativity, and experiential learning
Educational Qualifications:
- BTech / BE / Diploma / BSc / MSc in:
- Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, Robotics, Aerospace, Mechatronics)
- STEM-related fields
- Freshers with strong practical skills are welcome
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in ATL Labs / DT Labs / Maker Spaces / Innovation Labs
- Prior teaching or training experience with school students
- Familiarity with NEP 2020, STEAM education, project-based learning
