Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop tools, dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and gauges as per customer and production requirements.
- Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings and detailed 3D models.
- Modify existing tool designs to improve performance and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and tool room teams during tool manufacturing and trials.
- Conduct design reviews and implement engineering changes.
- Perform tolerance stack-up and GD&T analysis.
- Support tool trials, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
- Maintain design documentation, BOMs, and revision records.
- Work with suppliers and vendors for tool development and procurement.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of tool design principles.
- Experience in Press Tool, Plastic Mold, Die Casting Tool, Jigs & Fixtures, or Gauge Design.
- Proficiency in CATIA V5, Siemens NX (UG NX), Creo, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of sheet metal, machining, injection molding, or die casting.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and customer specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Pay: ₹9,310.46 - ₹60,000.00 per month
