Course Advisor
Location: Nadakkavu, Kozhikode, Kerala
Employment Type: Full-Time (Onsite)
Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and student-focused Course Advisor to guide prospective students and professionals in selecting the right health, safety, and professional training programs. The ideal candidate will provide course guidance, handle admissions inquiries, and support students throughout the enrollment process while delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents on available courses, career opportunities, eligibility requirements, and learning pathways.
- Understand candidate requirements and recommend suitable training programs based on their educational background and career goals.
- Handle inquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, emails, social media, and walk-in visits.
- Guide prospective students through the admission and enrollment process, including documentation and fee payment procedures.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective students and convert inquiries into enrollments.
- Maintain accurate student records, counseling notes, and follow-up activities in CRM systems.
- Provide detailed information on course schedules, examination dates, fees, policies, and certification requirements.
- Coordinate with academic, operations, and marketing teams to ensure a smooth student onboarding experience.
- Participate in seminars, workshops, career guidance programs, and student engagement activities.
- Achieve assigned counseling and enrollment targets while maintaining high levels of student satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to understand student needs and provide appropriate guidance.
- Target-oriented with a student-centric approach.
Language Requirement
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is preferred.
- Knowledge of Hindi or other languages will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in academic counseling, admissions, telesales, customer service, or EdTech is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
