Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, and CloudFront
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
- Monitor system health, configure alerts, and manage incidents using CloudWatch, Grafana, Datadog, or similar tools
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) or ECS
- Implement cloud security best practices including IAM policies, VPC configurations, secrets management, and compliance controls
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment strategies, application performance, and cloud cost optimization
- Automate operational and deployment tasks using Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages
- Identify and implement AWS cost optimization opportunities
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering
- Valid AWS Certification such as: AWS Solutions Architect Associate (SAA-C03), AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, Or equivalent AWS certification (will be a plse)
- Strong knowledge of AWS services across compute, networking, storage, and databases
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) or ECS
- Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and version control using Git
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and command-line operations
- Basic to intermediate scripting skills in Bash or Python
Nice to Have
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog or Dynatrace
- Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps
- Understanding of SRE concepts including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets
- Exposure to multi-account AWS environments and AWS Organizations
