Job Summary:
The Senior Automobile General Technician is responsible for advanced diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of vehicles. The role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to handle complex issues, and ensuring high-quality service delivery with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
- Handle complex repairs including engine, transmission, suspension, and braking systems
- Identify root causes of recurring issues and provide permanent solutions
- Supervise and guide junior technicians in repair processes
- Ensure all jobs are completed within committed timelines and quality standards
- Use diagnostic tools/software effectively for accurate fault detection
- Conduct final inspection and road testing before vehicle delivery
- Maintain proper documentation of work carried out and parts used
- Adhere strictly to company safety standards and service protocols
- Coordinate with Service Advisors for technical clarifications and updates
Qualifications:
ITI / Diploma in Automobile Engineering (Mandatory)
Experience:
4 to 10 years of hands-on experience in automobile service/workshop
Valid Driving License (Mandatory)
Ability to handle workload independently
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
