Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead and oversee the overall operations of our car showroom. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automobile sales, team management, customer relationship management, and dealership operations. The General Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing profitability, and leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets.
- Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions to improve results.
- Identify new business opportunities and market expansion strategies.
- Ensure maximum vehicle sales and revenue generation.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate sales, finance, insurance, and support teams.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions.
- Build a positive and result-oriented work culture.
- Ensure effective manpower planning and workforce management.
Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and implement improvement initiatives.
- Maintain long-term relationships with key customers and corporate clients.
Showroom & Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day showroom operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Ensure proper inventory management and vehicle stock control.
- Monitor compliance with company policies and manufacturer standards.
- Coordinate with service and spare parts departments for seamless customer support.
Financial & Administrative Management
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and operational plans.
- Monitor dealership profitability and cost control measures.
- Analyze business reports and market trends to support decision-making.
- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Marketing & Brand Promotion
- Plan and execute local marketing and promotional activities.
- Strengthen brand visibility and market presence.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to generate leads and increase showroom footfall.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in automobile dealership operations, with leadership experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of automobile sales, finance, insurance, and customer service processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and dealership management systems.
