Job Description: Senior VP : Software Product Development and Delivery
Position Description:
- Senior Management role with total responsibility to handle multiple software products . Very diverse and challenging role needing strong proven skills and expertise including in Software Development, Project Management with a high degree of people handling skills. Strong domain skills will be needed for the role. The role will have P&L responsibilities and underwriting of the Sales targets for the products. The Role will also work closely with Pre-sales and Product management functions in the company . Strong in Web and mobile technologies.
Skills
- Overall relevant industry experience of 20+ years including Software product development and delivery experience of at least 10 years preferably with a major part in BFSI segment.
- Exposure to Software Product development including Conceptualisation, Analysis, Design, Development, Version management, Implementation and Support. Prior exposure to pre-sales work including creation and conducting of product demo's and Product walk through is a must.
- Experience of working with international clients and timely delivery of Product releases, strong Product development processes exposure absolute musts for the role.
- Prior exposure to client contracting, sub-vendor management, team leading and team management experience and demonstrated expertise in managing products with emphasis on timeliness, quality and profitability a Must.

- Create, Monitor and Deliver software products as per Business Plans of the company and specific customer commitments, on time and within planned costs and investments.
- Identify and track risks proactively and practice active risk mitigation measures.
- Lead, resource, train and manage Delivery teams.
- Lead, resource, train and manage Delivery teams.
- Plan and implement industry good practices in all areas of software product development and delivery; build and run operations on a strong metrics model.
- Align closely with Sales, Pre-sales and Product development functions towards building and sustaining of products for meeting revenue targets of the company.
- Optimisation of company resources- infrastructure and people- by leading efforts on Quality improvement,Technology advancement,efficient processes, Re-usability initiatives and Knowledge retention and its management.
- Participate and contribute to the building of company and Product branding,Product collaterals and Product Demo's.
- Provide leadership inputs for developing appropriate costing and pricing models for various products in the suite.
- Provide leadership in component sourcing, Hardware and communications,vendor management.
- Provide contents and inputs for enhancement to the Internal Training Programs within the Division for improving the Product knowledge and market knowledge.
- Motivate,retain and recruit qualified and skilled teams.
