Business Development Executive
Varikode Technology | Remote | Full Time | 3–5 Years Experience | 2 PM – 11 PM IST
We're looking for a Business Development Executive to drive client acquisition for our ecommerce development, design, and SEO agency. You'll generate leads, manage the sales pipeline, and close deals with international clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Own client acquisition end to end — from first touch to signed deal
- Make daily cold calls to international prospects and convert conversations into discovery calls
- Turn email replies and LinkedIn responses into booked calls, and booked calls into closed clients
- Generate and close leads through LinkedIn, Upwork, Freelancer, and PeoplePerHour
- Run daily outbound outreach — cold calls, cold emails, and LinkedIn messages
- Hit consistent daily activity targets (calls made, outreach sent, follow-ups done)
- Manage the CRM pipeline end to end and move every lead through the funnel
- Send a daily activity report — calls, outreach, responses, and pipeline status
Must-Have Skills
- 3–5 years of business development or sales experience in IT, eCommerce, or a digital agency
- Proven cold calling experience with international clients — comfortable picking up the phone and handling objections
- Excellent spoken and written English — non-negotiable (first interview round is a spoken English video call)
- Hands-on LinkedIn sales and outreach experience
- Active experience on freelance platforms — Upwork, Freelancer, PeoplePerHour — with bids or profiles you can show
- Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline using CRM tools
- Self-driven, able to work independently and report results without being chased
Good to Have
- Experience using AI tools for research and outreach
- Familiarity with Shopify, WordPress, or digital marketing services
Compensation: Fixed salary + performance incentives on every closed deal — strong closers earn significantly above base
Working Hours: 2 PM – 11 PM IST | Location: Remote
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
