Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and knowledgeable Physics Teacher for IIT Foundation (Classes 6–10) who can develop strong conceptual understanding and analytical thinking in students. The teacher will be responsible for teaching fundamental and advanced physics concepts, strengthening problem-solving skills, and preparing students for future competitive exams such as IIT-JEE, NTSE, and Olympiads.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Physics concepts for IIT Foundation to Classes 6–10.
- Build strong fundamental concepts, logical reasoning, and analytical problem-solving skills in students.
- Prepare and deliver structured lesson plans, study materials, worksheets, and practice problems.
- Conduct numerical problem-solving sessions and concept-based discussions.
- Organize regular assessments, mock tests, and quizzes to evaluate student performance.
- Provide individual doubt-clearing sessions and academic mentoring.
- Encourage participation in Science Olympiads, NTSE, and other competitive exams.
- Maintain student performance records and academic reports.
- Use interactive teaching methods, demonstrations, and practical examples to explain physics concepts.
- Participate in academic planning, faculty meetings, and training programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physics / Engineering / Science.
- B.Ed preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong conceptual knowledge of Physics and mathematical applications.
- Ability to teach numerical problem-solving and analytical reasoning.
- Excellent communication and explanation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex physics concepts for middle and secondary school students.
- Strong student mentoring and classroom management skills.
Experience
- 2–6 years of teaching experience in Physics or IIT Foundation programs preferred.
- Experience in Olympiad / NTSE / IIT Foundation coaching will be an advantage.
Additional Information
- Candidates with experience in competitive exam coaching or advanced concept teaching will be preferred.
- Should be passionate about mentoring students and building strong science foundations.
