Job Role: Housekeeper – Mojigao Eco ResortPosition Overview
The Housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort across all guest accommodations and resort facilities. This role is vital in creating a warm, eco-friendly, and welcoming environment that reflects the ethos of Mojigao Eco Resort. The Housekeeper will also contribute to sustainable housekeeping practices, ensuring minimal environmental impact in line with the resort’s eco-lifestyle values.
Key Responsibilities
1. Guest Room & Common Area Upkeep
- Clean, sanitize, and refresh all guest rooms, cottages, dormitories, and common areas.
- Change linens, make beds, and restock amenities as per resort standards.
- Ensure bathrooms are spotless and maintained with eco-friendly products.
2. Sustainability Practices
- Use eco-friendly cleaning materials and ensure water/waste management is followed.
- Support resort’s sustainability initiatives (e.g., reducing single-use plastic, composting).
3. Inventory & Supplies
- Monitor housekeeping supplies (linen, cleaning products, toiletries).
- Report low stock levels to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Admin team.
- Ensure proper storage and care of cleaning equipment.
4. Guest Interaction & Service
- Respond promptly to guest housekeeping requests.
- Report guest feedback and room maintenance issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a polite, professional, and discreet attitude at all times.
5. Team Coordination & Reporting
- Work closely with front office and maintenance teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Report damages, repair needs, or unusual situations immediately.
- Follow daily/weekly housekeeping checklists.
Requirements
- Prior housekeeping experience in hospitality/resort preferred.
- Knowledge of eco-friendly cleaning techniques (training will be provided).
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and peak tourist seasons.
- Physically fit and able to handle housekeeping duties.
Growth & Development
- Training in eco-lifestyle hospitality practices at Mojigao.
- Opportunity to progress to Senior Housekeeper / Supervisor role.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
