Job Title: IELTS Trainer (International English Language Testing System Trainer)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IELTS Trainer to prepare students for the IELTS Academic and General Training exams. The trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, improving students’ English language skills, and helping them achieve their target IELTS band scores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct IELTS training sessions for Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking modules
- Design lesson plans and practice materials aligned with the latest IELTS exam pattern
- Assess students’ English proficiency levels and provide personalized feedback
- Conduct mock tests and evaluate student performance regularly
- Train students on exam techniques, time management, and scoring strategies
- Track student progress and maintain performance records
- Assist students in improving grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and fluency
- Motivate students and address learning challenges effectively
- Stay updated with IELTS exam format changes and band score criteria
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong command of English (spoken and written)
- Thorough understanding of IELTS Academic and General Training modules
- Prior experience as an IELTS/PTE Trainer preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (preferred)
- IELTS certification or relevant teaching certification is an advantage
Preferred Experience:
- 1–3 years of teaching/training experience in IELTS or English language coaching
- Experience in coaching institutes, language centers, or study abroad consultancies
- Familiarity with IELTS band descriptors and assessment criteria
