drippinHot is a contemporary women's fashion brand creating limited-edition dresses for confident women who love to stand out. We are looking for a Fashion Consultant who can create an elevated, personalized shopping experience while helping customers find pieces that make them feel their best.
This role is ideal for someone who has a strong sense of fashion, enjoys styling people, and naturally connects with customers.
The Role
As a Fashion Consultant, you will be the face of drippinHot at our retail pop-ups and events. You will understand each customer's style, preferences, occasion, and fit, and use your fashion knowledge to recommend the right pieces and create complete looks.
You will play an important role in both styling and driving sales, while ensuring every customer interaction reflects the premium personality of the brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and create a warm, engaging, and premium shopping experience.
- Understand customers' personal style, preferences, occasion, and requirements.
- Recommend dresses and looks based on individual customer needs.
- Assist customers with styling, sizing, fit, and outfit recommendations.
- Suggest accessories, layering, and complementary pieces where relevant.
- Build strong product knowledge across all drippinHot collections, fabrics, fits, silhouettes, and detailing.
- Proactively engage with customers and confidently initiate conversations.
- Drive sales while ensuring recommendations are genuine and customer-focused.
- Work towards daily and event-level sales targets
- Assist customers in the trial room and provide styling and fit guidance.
- Maintain a visually appealing, organized, and premium retail environment.
- Ensure merchandise is properly displayed and replenished throughout the day.
- Process orders, payments, and billing accurately.
- Capture customer information for future brand communication.
- Assist with inventory management, stock counting, and replenishment.
- Support the setup and dismantling of pop-up stores and events when required.
- Gather customer feedback and share insights on preferences, products, and buying behaviour with the brand team.
- Represent drippinHot with confidence, professionalism, and strong brand awareness at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in fashion retail, styling, apparel sales, luxury/premium retail, or customer-facing roles preferred.
- Strong personal sense of style and genuine interest in fashion.
- Good understanding of women's fashion, silhouettes, fits, and styling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident and comfortable approaching customers proactively.
- Strong ability to understand customer needs and translate them into styling recommendations.
- Sales-oriented with the ability to work towards targets.
- Positive, energetic, and well-presented personality.
- Comfortable working long event hours, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Basic familiarity with POS systems and digital payments.
- Willingness to travel locally for pop-ups and events when required.
Compensation
₹20,000 per month + performance-based incentives
Event-related expenses will be covered as applicable.
Work Environment
This is an in-person retail role based primarily around drippinHot pop-ups, events, and exhibitions in Bangalore. The role may require working evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended event hours.
