Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care by evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients under the supervision of a licensed physician. This role requires excellent clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other medical studies.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state laws and regulations.
- Perform minor medical procedures such as suturing, wound care, injections, and splinting.
- Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and preventive healthcare.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current Physician Assistant license
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred:
- 1–2 years of clinical experience (new graduates may be considered).
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Experience in primary care, family medicine, urgent care, or a related specialty.
