About the Role We are seeking an experienced Okta IAM Consultant with strong expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, architecture, and cloud security. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing and designing enterprise-scale IAM environments with a focus on Okta. The role involves leading IAM architecture and design initiatives, collaborating with security and infrastructure teams, and driving IAM strategy and compliance. Success in this role means ensuring business continuity, disaster recovery, and security compliance requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions across enterprise environments.
- Lead IAM architecture and design initiatives for large-scale enterprise deployments.
- Configure and manage Okta for authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, and identity federation.
- Implement Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions and access control frameworks.
- Design and manage Cross Identity Provider (IDP) Federation integrations.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to enforce IAM best practices.
- Support Privileged Access Management (PAM) controls and governance processes.
- Drive IAM strategy, roadmap, and enterprise security compliance requirements.
- Ensure business continuity, disaster recovery, and recoverability considerations are incorporated into IAM solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting support for complex IAM issues.
Requirements
- Develop expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM) with 8+ years of experience.
- Utilize strong hands-on expertise in Okta for common IAM use cases.
- Leverage experience in Identity Governance, Authentication, Authorization, and Identity Verification.
- Implement and manage Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
- Apply experience with Cross-IDP Federation and SSO integrations.
- Architect and design IAM systems for large enterprises with 4+ years of experience.
- Work with Public Cloud platforms with 4+ years of experience.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of SaaS Security components and cloud security principles.
- Apply a good understanding of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery scenarios.
- Excel in communication and stakeholder management skills.
