- Fitting components together to build products according to specifications.

- Maintenance: Performing minor maintenance or reporting malfunctions to keep the assembly line running
- Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean workstation
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent 10th, 12th, or ITI) is typically required.
- Experience: Often open to freshers, but prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Skills: Strong manual dexterity, ability to stand or sit for long hours, and technical understanding of assembly tools.
- Precision: Ability to handle small parts and follow detailed instructions.
- Speed: Meeting production quotas without sacrificing quality.
- Teamwork: Communicating and coordinating effectively with other operators, notes the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India.
- Documentation: Ability to complete production logs and quality reports.
