Role Overview
The Research & Insights Manager will lead end‑to‑end market research initiatives to deliver actionable, decision‑ready insights for the US market. This role will partner closely with senior stakeholders across marketing, business development, and leadership teams to inform go‑to‑market strategies, account planning, competitive positioning, and growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical rigor, hands‑on research execution experience, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for executive audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Prospect Research
- Lead and execute qualitative and quantitative market research projects aligned to business priorities
- Conduct prospect, account, and firmographic research to support sales, marketing, and account intelligence initiatives
- Develop market sizing, segmentation, and opportunity assessments for priority industries and accounts
Industry, Competitive & Trend Analysis
- Analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging risks/opportunities across target sectors
- Track and assess competitor strategies, offerings, positioning, and go‑to‑market motions
- Monitor US regulatory, economic, and macro‑environmental factors impacting client industries
Insights & Storytelling
- Synthesize insights into clear, structured reports, dashboards, and executive‑level presentations
- Translate data into actionable recommendations tied to commercial and strategic outcomes
- Support leadership briefings, account planning sessions, and strategic reviews
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Strategy, Leadership) to scope research needs and align outputs
- Act as a trusted advisor by proactively identifying insight opportunities beyond stated requests
- Ensure consistency, quality, and governance across research deliverables
Core Skills
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving capabilities
- Proven ability to manage complex research initiatives end‑to‑end
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong executive‑level presentation skills
Research Tools & Data Literacy
- Hands‑on experience with market and account intelligence platforms, including:
- PitchBook
- FactSet
- Demandbase / ABM platforms
- Vertical IQ
- Similar B2B, financial, or market intelligence tools
- Strong understanding of CRM databases such as Dynamics and HubSpot
- Comfortable working with multiple data sources and assessing data quality and relevance
Experience & Background
- 8–10 years of experience in market research, insights, competitive intelligence, or related roles
- Prior experience in B2B, financial services, professional services, consulting, or technology sectors preferred
