Project Manager – 220 kV and above OHTL Projects
Location: Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar/Mumbai : Power Transmission (High Voltage – OHTL)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Manager for one of our client based in Sambhaji Nagar/Mumbai. The selected candidate will lead the execution of 220 kV and above Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects, ensuring timely, safe, and high-quality delivery.
This role requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise in electrical engineering and transmission lines, and excellent project management skills to handle end-to-end project execution.
Overview:
- Experienced in managing projects from post-award to completion, including detailed budget planning and resource forecasting.
- Should have experience of project execution of OHTL with any state utility company.
- Should have good knowledge in detail engineering including designing, bill of materials estimation, execution of projects, Vendor management, good knowledge of Commercial & Contractual terms, Client Management, Project Management Skills, Forecasting, Leadership quality.
- Demonstrate ability to deliver projects on time and within budget, with flexibility to adapt plans as needed.
- Expert in implementing engineering systems that adhere to Health & Safety regulations and maintaining thorough project documentation.
- Proficient in monitoring project progress, providing regular updates to business leads, and managing client communications on contractual matters.
- Skilled in coordinating with subcontractors for timely delivery of materials and handling local purchases and payments.
- Proven track record of engaging with local bodies and political entities to ensure seamless project execution.
- Experienced in managing change claims and processing them through to realisation.
B.E / BTech - Electrical/Civil/Mechanical
· Min. 15 years of experience in OHTL & Substation Projects above 380kv
· Should have executed min 1 project with PGCIL.
Salary:- As per market standard
