About the Role
We are seeking a Proposal Engineer/Executive with experience in preparing techno-commercial proposals for Water & Wastewater Treatment projects, including Water Recycling and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems. The ideal candidate should have exposure to the water treatment industry and possess a strong understanding of treatment technologies, process concepts, costing, and bid documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Proposal & Tender Management
● Prepare detailed techno-commercial proposals for Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, Water Recycling, and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) projects.
● Review customer enquiries, RFQs, tender documents, and technical specifications.
● Analyze project requirements and prepare customized technical and commercial offers.
● Coordinate with process, design, procurement, and sales teams to gather inputs for proposal preparation.
● Develop cost estimates, bill of materials (BOM), and pricing calculations.
● Prepare compliance statements, technical datasheets, and bid documentation.
● Participate in tender submissions and ensure timely completion of proposals.
Technical Responsibilities
● Understand and evaluate treatment technologies such as:
○ UF, NF, RO Systems
○ ETP, STP, CETP, WTP
○ MBR, MBBR, SBR Processes
○ Water Recycling Systems
○ Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) Systems
● Perform basic process calculations and assist in technology selection.
● Review PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, and technical drawings.
● Support the sales team during technical discussions and client presentations.
Coordination & Documentation
● Maintain proposal records and tender databases.
● Coordinate with vendors for quotations and technical inputs.
● Ensure compliance with customer specifications and company standards.
● Support project handover activities after order finalization.
Desired Candidate Profile
● Experience in proposal preparation within the water and wastewater treatment industry.
● Strong understanding of Water & Wastewater Treatment processes, Recycling Systems, and ZLD solutions.
● Ability to interpret technical specifications and tender documents.
● Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
● Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and costing calculations.
