About the Role

We are looking for a creative leader who can combine strong design thinking with business acumen to build a high-performing creative function for our India & APAC business.
This role is an opportunity to lead the creative design charter end-to-end—setting the vision, building the team and capability, raising creative standards, and ensuring that every campaign and customer touchpoint delivers both creative excellence and measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Leadership & Vision
- Own the overall creative design vision and strategy for the India & APAC business, aligned with brand, marketing and business objectives.
- Set and continuously raise the creative bar across digital campaigns, social media, performance marketing, paid media and other customer-facing touchpoints.
- Translate business and marketing objectives into compelling creative strategies, concepts and visual narratives.
- Lead creative ideation, concept development and execution across multiple formats and platforms.
- Establish creative principles, standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and excellence across all outputs.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, manage and develop a team of designers and creative professionals, including graphic designers, motion designers, photographers/videographers and other creative talent.
- Build a high-performing, collaborative and accountable creative team with clear goals, KRAs and quality standards.
- Coach and mentor team members, strengthening their creative capabilities, business understanding and execution skills.
Creative & Campaign Management
- Own end-to-end creative delivery for major campaigns, from briefing and ideation through execution and final delivery.
- Partner closely with copy, marketing, performance marketing, product, business and other stakeholders to develop integrated campaigns.
- Oversee development of layouts, mock-ups, storyboards, digital assets and campaign adaptations across platforms.
- Ensure creative work is delivered within agreed timelines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Establish efficient creative processes, workflows, review mechanisms and SLAs to improve turnaround time and reduce iterations.
- Use research, audience insights, competition benchmarking and market trends to inform creative direction.
- Ensure creative output is increasingly data-informed and connected to measurable business and marketing outcomes.
- Stakeholder & Agency Management.
Skills & Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in creative/design roles, preferably across a leading creative agency, consumer internet, digital-first, EdTech or high-growth environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Animation, Communication Design or a related discipline.
- Proven experience leading and managing a team of designers and creative professionals.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative leadership across digital campaigns, performance marketing, social media and integrated brand campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into strong creative strategies and high-quality visual execution.
- Strong understanding of digital, social, paid media and performance marketing creative formats.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders, priorities and high-volume creative requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of brand building, consumer behaviour and data-informed creative decision-making.
- Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach to creative problem-solving.
- Ability to operate independently, make sound creative judgments and influence senior stakeholders.
- Designer Tools - Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro.Strong understanding of digital design, motion graphics, video, social media and performance creative formats.
- Exposure to emerging AI-powered creative and design tools is preferred.
