Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Plumber / Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair plumbing systems and support general maintenance activities within our garment manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have experience in installing, repairing, and troubleshooting plumbing systems while ensuring minimal downtime in production.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, and sanitary fixtures.
- Diagnose and fix leaks, blockages, and plumbing-related issues.
- Maintain pumps, water tanks, pipelines, valves, and fittings.
- Carry out preventive maintenance of plumbing systems.
- Assist in general maintenance activities, including minor electrical and civil repair work, if required.
- Maintain records of maintenance work and report major issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Follow all safety procedures and use tools/equipment responsibly.
- Coordinate with vendors for major repairs and replacement of materials when required.
- Ensure uninterrupted water supply and proper waste disposal systems.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma or relevant certification in Plumbing or Maintenance.
- 1-3 years of experience in plumbing or facility maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or garment industry.
- Knowledge of PVC, CPVC, GI, and PPR piping systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues independently.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance is an added advantage.
- Physically fit and willing to respond to maintenance emergencies.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
