Designation: Sr. Executive – HR, Compliance & IR

Reporting To: HR Manager / Head – HR
Location: As per business/site requirement
Job Purpose
To manage day-to-day HR operations, statutory compliance, employee relations and industrial relations activities while ensuring compliance with applicable labour laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations
- Manage employee joining, onboarding, documentation and separation formalities.
- Maintain employee master data and personnel records.
- Manage attendance, leave, overtime and manpower records.
- Coordinate payroll inputs and verify salary-related data.
- Prepare HR MIS and manpower reports.
- Coordinate with site and corporate HR teams for employee-related matters.
2. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely compliance under applicable labour and employment laws.
- Manage EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Bonus, Gratuity and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain statutory registers, records and employee documentation.
- Coordinate statutory returns, challans, inspections and notices.
- Ensure compliance related to contract labour and applicable labour licences.
- Maintain compliance records for audits and client requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, government departments and statutory authorities when required.
3. Industrial Relations (IR)
- Handle employee grievances and workplace issues.
- Maintain healthy employer-employee relations.
- Support disciplinary proceedings and issue of notices as per company policy.
- Handle absenteeism, misconduct and employee disputes.
- Coordinate with workers, supervisors, contractors and management for resolving IR matters.
- Support negotiations and discussions with employees/workmen and representatives where required.
- Maintain records related to disciplinary and IR cases.
4. Contract Labour Management
- Monitor contractor manpower and statutory compliance.
- Verify contractor attendance, wages and statutory documents.
- Ensure compliance related to Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act / applicable labour codes and rules.
- Monitor labour licence, wage records, PF/ESIC compliance, insurance and other required documents.
- Coordinate contractor compliance audits and documentation.
5. Audit & Compliance Management
- Prepare documents for internal, client and statutory audits.
- Identify compliance gaps and take corrective actions.
- Maintain compliance trackers and monthly compliance reports.
- Coordinate with different departments for closure of audit observations.
6. HR Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain HR registers, employee files and statutory records.
- Prepare monthly HR and compliance MIS.
- Maintain records such as attendance registers, wage registers, overtime records, leave records and employment-related documents.
- Ensure proper documentation for client/project requirements.

Qualification
Education: Graduate / Diploma / MBA / PG Diploma in HR or equivalent.
Experience: 4–7 years in HR Operations, Statutory Compliance and Industrial Relations, preferably in Engineering, EPC, O&M, Manufacturing, Power Plant, Steel, Refinery, Mining or Manpower Services.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
