Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to manage planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities for electrical distribution and transmission projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely execution of projects while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed project schedules using planning tools (MS Project/Primavera).
- Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and project managers.
- Analyze project delays and recommend corrective actions.
- Track material availability, manpower, and equipment planning.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines and client requirements.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of transmission and distribution projects.
- Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera.
- Good understanding of project planning and scheduling techniques.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
