Ivy International School, Shimla is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Day Boarding Teachers who are passionate about teaching and mentoring students in a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and guide students during day boarding hours.
- Help students complete homework, assignments, and academic projects.
- Clarify concepts and provide subject-specific support.
- Conduct revision sessions and improve students' understanding of the curriculum.
- Maintain discipline and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Monitor students' academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and effective study habits.
- Coordinate with the academic team regarding students' performance when required.
Eligibility:
- Graduate or Postgraduate in any relevant discipline (B.Ed. preferred).
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for working with children and supporting their academic growth.
- Ability to teach multiple subjects (for primary classes) or specialized subjects (for middle/senior classes).
